Because you invest a lot in equipment, keeping it performing at optimal levels is important. There are three ways to achieve this:

  1. Proper cleaning
  2. Proper maintenance
  3. Proper transportation

Cleaning

Keeping your machine clean of concrete can add years of life to your investment. Keep these tips in mind:

  • Pressure wash all concrete off of unit and use Delete Krete to remove stubborn spots.
  • Be sure not to pressure wash too close to your radiator and electrical components.
  • Always grease machine after washing to push out water buildup.

Maintenance

  • Keep concrete off by using Kleen Kote, making sure not to get it on your belts. Grease all lube points daily.
  • Make sure to service at specified intervals per the owner’s manual.
  • Check for excessive play in drive line, arms and shafts, and replace before they cause more damage.
  • Always use OEM filters.

Transportation

Trowels

  • Shut off fuel before transporting.
  • Always place on clean, flat surface, not on rocks or debris.
  • Make sure blades are not pitched.
  • Always lift and strap at correct points.

Saws

  • Shut off fuel before transporting.
  • Place unit in lowered position, with blade removed from unit.
  • Always place on clean, flat surface, not on rocks or debris.
  • Always lift and strap at correct points.
